Duralco 4701 is an adhesive and casting compound suitable for use up to 315°C / 600°F for high performance potting, bonding and repairing in automotive, aerospace, nuclear, chemical, production and laboratory applications.
Duralco 4701 is one component and offers high electrical resistance, low moisture absorbtion, high temperature stability, high bond strength, low shrinkage and excellent chemical, solvent and radiation resistance. It has excellent adhesion to metals, glass, cermaics and most plastics. Applications for use include sealing thermocouples, electrical heaters, installation of thermocouples, strain gauges and flow measuring instruments etc. Examples of use include sealing and protecting electrical feed thrus against high heat and moisture.
