Resbond 907GF is a general purpose adhesive and sealant putty. 907GF is fireproof and is applied from caulking cartridges for use from -184°C to 1287°C. It sets hard like cement and is used for bonding, repairs, assemblies and sealing. It is ideal for any high temperature assembly, production, repair or maintenance application.
Resbond 907GF is a moist, creamy putty that can be applied directly to clean Steel, Stainless, Iron, Most metals, Ceramics, Ceramic cloths, tapes, gaskets etc. It air dries in 4-12 hours at room temperature which can be accelerated with mild heat. Resbond 907GF is resistant to most chemicals, solvents, oxidizing and reducing atmospheres, aging, thermal cycling and electricity.
Applications include bonding ceramic tapes, metals, cermaics, glass, instruments and repairing exhaust systems, diesel engines, gas turbines, heating plant equipment, ceramics, firebricks, mortar. Also used for asembling high temperature equipment, brazing fixtures and supports, stacks etc and for sealing exhaust systems, stacks, flues, etc and is gasket forming and fills surface irregularities.
