Rescor 914 (537°C) series machinable glass ceramic from Cotronics. A strong, dense glass composite that is easily machinable with standard cutting tools.
It has low thermal conductivity and high impact + mechanical strength for use in vacuum applications.
It can also be metalized for soldering applications and is available in a wide range of plate and rod sizes as follows:
