Rescor 740 is an insulating foam that has excellent resistance to high temperatures, thermal shock, molten metals, oxidising and reducing atmospheres, erosion, most acid and alkalis etc.

Rescor 740 has been used to cast 24" diameter x 2.5" high cylindrical rings to insulate flanges in a casting furnace. Rescor 740 easily casts 2000lb moulds (6ft in length) to be used for forming and curing composite materials.
